I've used the 2071 and the MS-Plus, both worked pretty good for me on concrete. I prefer the 2071 though. Both seemed to hold down engineered as good as Bostik Best. Even used both for stranded bamboo and they worked fine.

taylor makes several types of adhesive. The right one depends on the product. I like 2071 personally.

I use a trowel that puts out just a tad more glue than they recommend, with their notching request.

The first job I did with 2071, I had to switch trowels, as it just was not getting the required bond.

Just used the MS-plusthis weekend for a strand bamboo. Really liked the way it troweled out.

Has anyone used their trowel with the little nubs on it. It supposedly lays down a moisture barrier layer while also leaving the notched ridges. Pretty nifty concept.

I have not yet used it and was unaware they copied Stauf's concept (until it was mentioned here) who came up with the idea originally. When I used the MS first they only spec'd troweling on a layer with a similar trowel MVP4 uses and then glue the wood the next day. That sucked because the MS does leaves ridges and does not lay flat like MVP$ with the slumping compound taken out of it. So it eats up lots of adhesive to fill the ridges.
I envision lots of other manufactures coming on board with that idea.

Funny thing is that years ago no one wanted you to float your wood over a lake of adhesive. Oy

Does Taylor glue have a moisture barrier as well? How does it compare to other glues such as Bostik?

I did 440 SF of Gemwoods california classics this weekend using MS+ and taylors special trough. Works as advertised no issues plenty of bond.
