What I'm saying is you can pout a boot on your standard flooring stapler..Bostitch III and I think a powernailer have a boot adapter..they were designed for 1/2" thick flooring.

it will work for that flooring..

the engineered flooring nailers you see are for 3/8 and some half inch engineered floors with smaller tongues.

I gotcha'. Well, it's gonna be hard to find a stapler that shoots 1/2" 18 gauge staples, but I'll find a way. I always do. And again, thanks for taking the time to post and share your knowledge with me.

just use a standard flooring stapler..rent form local tool rental or HD..

15 gauge will work on this floor.
