I've just heavily cleaned, vacuumed, micro fibered then tack clothed my Herringbone install.
Without knowing it mattered, I used Finish Factors Tack Cloths. Are they Oil-Free?
Am I going to have problems with when staining w/Bona DTS?
What can I do?
Being Naturally Weather Distressed Hardwood, I'd like to stay away from sanding it anymore.

Also, the wood is naturally heavy distressed barn woods.
Any remaining dust deep in the crevices, i can still see it, but having problems getting to all of it.
Will the water-based stain get rid of the "appearance" of any of those tiny dust lines?

Thanks

Bona DTS is a water based sealer (not a stain at all) . So chances are your tack cloths wont leave enough resin behind ot be a problem. So , for a basic check, rub your hand across some parts of the floor and see if you can feel anything sticky at all.if there's anything left behind, you'll need to get it off the wood.

IF there's dust in crevices, you need to use different vacuum attachments to get to it or use some kind of pick like tool , like a skinny nail or center punch, an awl or maybe something like a dental pick. It'll be tedious .As you loosen it with the pick , you should be able to lift it out with the vacuum if you are using a good one.Coating over dust wont get rid of the appearance of said "dust". .
