I am new to this forum. I need some help with a streetshoe finish I had installed on my hardwood floor. I am seeing shiny streaks on the finish where kitchen chairs are moved across the surface (people are sitting in the chairs and shifting around while sitting on the chairs - nothing unusual). All chairs have pads on them. We did not see the marks occur until 2 weeks after the finish was installed. Has anyone had this happen before? What could be causing this to happen. Thanks.

what brand type of felt pads are on the chairs?
Were they new?
Is it all chairs or just one chair?

the pads are polishing the finish or abrading it one. remove and replace with felt chair pads with another brand.
