Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I am in a position where I have to store some prefinished flooring (2500 sqft) of prefinished flooring. I have a warehouse I can store it or rent a storage unit (both are unconditioned). Will this adversely affect the flooring in any way - no moisture issue but there will be changes in temperature(32 to 100 degrees over the course of the year and humidity from 30 to 80) as it isnt conditioned (washington DC).

When we're ready to install - we'll be sure to properly acclimate for several weeks in the conditioned space that its going in. Just wondering if I'm going to have any issues storing it in a warehouse or a storage unit until ready ? Does the large flooring manufacturers store it in unfinished space anyway until a customer orders it ? Anybody have any ideas ? Thanks for any opinions.

Just bumping this back up. Since a lot of you guys are in the industry - anybody have any ideas if I'll have any issues storing pre-finished flooring in a non climate controlled warehouse ? Thanks.

Why not ask the manufacturer?
