Dilemma with my home project. I plan to install 1100 sq. ft. of 3/4" x 2 1/4" red oak.

Which is preferred starting point to install, with central hallway running parallel with wood but perpendicular to entry? One of the interior walls of central hallway or shorter exterior wall of dining room at end, making a continuous run through hall to MST BR? If hallway, then would have to reverse into dining room. Also, possible ripping of first row in hallway. Interior walls of hall not equal length or exactly plum. (Hall is 40" wide)

(From right to left: Entry to L shaped LIV & DIN that runs across central hall at right end, BR off either side of center hall leading into MST BR at other end). Sorry, can't insert image... :(

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
