First time hardwood floor refinisher here and everything seemed to be going smoothly until I put the first coat on of Minwax Super Fast Drying Poly (semi-gloss). I was waiting for it to dry so I hopped online to see what people recommend in terms of wait time between coats and that's when I began to read horrible review after horrible review in regards to this product. My fault for not doing my homework... But anyway, it's been 4 hours since the first coat and to be honest, it looks great. A few spots in the parts of the room which dont get good ventilation look slightly "damp", but overall it feels hard and isn't gummy or sticky. So my question is, should I let this completely dry overnight, lightly sand it with 220 and then recoat it with a more reputable oil based polyurethane? Or should I stick with the same product?

yes,

I would wait over night and if you want to go over it with another poly, no harm no foul.

fast dry oil poly are rarely good and usually recommend you don't abrade within a certain time frame.

to me that is a double edged sword.
