Hello,
I've got some Brazilian Teak 5/16 floors to install over a very good plywood subfloor. Searching around for info on staples I have not found specific recommendations for this thickness of floor. My rental shop has the Senco SLS20HF. I have not noticed any staples for the smaller guns that specify Flooring Staples, so I assume no special coatings to help anchor the staple.
Do I just go with standard crown staples for this gun?

check with the manufactures guidelines. Many 5/16 floors are glue down only. you'll probalkly need a 20 gauge staple or cleat if fastners are acceptable by the manufacture.

also if its a solid 5/16 then it will require a URATHANE glue.
