I would like to know what is the proper staple length to use when installing 3/4" Brazilian Mesquite onto 3/4" CDX over a slab?
I found a box of 1 1/2" staples (The only one) at Lowes at a discounted rate of $5.00 fro the case. Yep!
But yet the 2 " staples were around $59.00 a case.

Over ¾ and the risk of popping thru, and puncturing the moisture barrier laid over the concrete. I'd opt for the 1½"

the 1&1/2" staples are the correct length to use when installing 3/4" thick T&G flooring over 3/4" plywood attached or floated directly to concrete.
