Does anyone have experience staining Hartco acrylic floors?

I have a client who has this installed in their kitchen and would like to add on in the living room and hall. It is a 3/8" engineered glued down floor. My concern is that the kitchen would not accept new stain.

Am I correct in this fear or just a scared silly? :P

When they acrylic impregnate floors, they heat them to open the pores
add the acrylic which fills the pores making them durable , harder, more indentation resistant, and in my experience, much more impervious to moisture. I think re-staining them isn't an option . Some customers demands are ridiculous and my experience is that is better to smile politely and say no thank you than to end up in court. If you must, see if she has a leftover board from the previous install. Try to sand half of it clean and restain. It could show her how it would turn out and you could
have her sign a waiver, keep this board as it will might be exhibit "A"
in the courtroom.
