 Post subject: Spotnails WS4840W2 and Fasteners

I am installing 7 1/2" x 1/2" engineered over a 3/4" CDX subfloor. I am ordering a spotnails WS4840W2 stapler and would like to know what is the best staple to use for this installation.
I saw a post saying the Senco 1 1/4" 18ga staple works best. Any opinions on this? If so does anybody have the p/n on this staple?
Also, for 1000 sq ft how many staples do I need?
