Lumber Liquidators actually carry's spline for 3/4. Yea! I hate making it, never fits right. Only place in town.

The ole manager was not there. I really liked the guy.

I used to buy splines from my distributor but always had to adjust them to fit anyways. Now I just make my own.

The edge on these fit perfect. Nice and oval shaped. At ten bucks for 24 feet I'll buy them all day.

But no more contractor discount unless I'm buying over a grands worth of merchandise. Thats just a stupid move for Lumber Liquidators. If they were smart they would work with local contractors. But I guess they don't need the money. :(

10 bucks for 24 feet! That's what I pay for oak shoe :P I get all my slip tongue at Virginia Hardwood. About .10-.15 per', excellent quality, lengths, 3/4 or 3/8".

No, as long as I can remember LL has not worked with contractors. Never could understand that either.

thats like a 400% margin in that stuff. I have to give it to em if they can get away with that kinda margin.

Maybe I can order a box online somewhere just to have. Anyone got a website for me? Tucson just sucks for some stuff like that.

For instance...no one here carry's 1 1/2 inch staples for my stapler. The Box stores started carrying 2 inch and thats all. How dumb. Everyone that carrys staplers or cleat nailers have nothing for engineered, you gotta order any gun for engineered. Duh, there's a ton more engineered going in here than solid!

its not that much, and saves you a good amount of money plus no multiple trips to distributors to get it, especially when you need it and its not convienint

That would last me twenty years at least. Out here there ain't that much solid 3/4 wood going down. I'd say it's 90% engineered with some thinner solids but not a whole lotta 3/4. I was thinking more around a hundred feet or so.

But appreciate the link anyway. Thanks!

I don't know if this is helpful at all but I bought some 3/4" spline last weekend at Menards. I think it was 5 bucks for 12'.
