Looking for unfinished engineered white oak in 6 or 7" planks with a micro-bevel edge. Ideally would like to buy as direct as possible rather than buy from several middlemen. I am considered 'in the industry' by some (architect) maybe 1/2 the places I call will sell to me direct. I found some very beautiful stuff at $7/sf (but it is actually way nicer than what I need)...I am hoping to find something in a $4=$5 / sf price point...is this unrealistic? Does anyone have names of mills or places I could try?

Dont know anything about this company, but they do offer exactly what you are looking for. Probably not many that have unfinished and planks that wide.

These people will ship out 3/4 unfinished engineered in 7 and 8". I've installed it and it's primo stuff. A client of mine is ordering more as we speak.

Not many manufactures that will sell you direct on a one time deal. Id be looking for a distributor instead. Maxwell, Owens plank, and Real Wood floors all make what you are looking for. The bevel edges will be a custom run, as most of these floor being unfinished have square edges.
