I am nailing down bamboo hardwood floor in an upstairs room. Can I put some kind of sound absorption under a nail down wood floor and if so what can I use?

Sure you can. There are a few different types, I purchased mine from LL :shock: - the dream home insulayment. Take into account this adds almost 1/8" to your floor height when transitioning to your other floor.
