Never heard that one before--anyone else?

Must be a sales pitch from a company manufacturing floating floors. While rift and quarter sawn boards do expand with the grain, which faces up, I doubt it would be enough to "catch your shoes and become a trip hazard!" That is unless it was FLOODED! I'm just guessing but would this statement have been made by an oriental flooring company? Sort of sounds like it. I like the zero problem floor idea! Does that come with a LIFETIME GUARANTEE?

Actually it comes from a well known online company. It does seem to indicate they're trying to push floating floors. I caught the message in another online forum where the poster mentioned "read such and such's site on hardwood flooring differences"
