I've decided on using a solid wood for my floors, however both my wife and I really like the handscraped/distressed look since we are just starting our family. That way the unavoidable dings/dents will "enhance" the floor.

I've seen plenty of solid floors

I've seen plenty of distressed or hand-scraped floors

But haven't seen many products that are both. Any suggestions? We are looking for a 5" plank in a not light color.

Any ideas?

Thanks

check out the Chateau Old world flooring on our site, under other products we sell click on handscraped, and scroll down to bottom of page and their are 5 different manufacturers of solid handscraped...one of the elite manufacturers is Chateau, its pricey but worth every penny and we have samples....
