I recently used an insecticide fogger in my apartment. I thought I had thoroughly read all the warnings but I obviously missed the part where it said not to use on exposed wooden flooring.

It has left the polyurethane finish soft and tacky throughout the apartment and I'm hoping somebody has some advice for what I can do to fix it, short of sanding the entire floor and resealing.

Thanks.

Have you tried contacting the insecticide company?. There are several types of poly-urethane some are more resistant to solvents than others. There may be another type of floor polish on the floor, too, unless you were living there when the floors were finished. Contact your homeowners insurance representative, or agent.
