All right ... I never start discussions, but I just gotta!!!!

Anyone read page 17 in this month's (Dec2005/Jan2006)Hardwood Floors Magazine. "Tales From the Front" section?

The Texan in me is cryin Bull Chips!!! Maybe I'm just too slow or lazy, but does anyone at the magazine expect me to believe that one fella installed, sanded and TWO coated a 700 sq.ft. floor in one straight shift?

Follow up points:
1) Why did he take 5 gal. of finish to put one coat on 700 feet?
2) If the house was so cold that snow did not melt, how was is warm enough for finish to be applied and dry?

Just how much can some of you guys get accomplished in a day anyway????

Would love to hear some feedback if for just comedy value.

BTW ... notice the print at the bottom of the story about if you have true and printable story to share etc... TRUE my eye...sheeeeesh!

I'm a little concerned NWFA takes me for a fool.

In order to achieve what the competition cannot grasp, we must complete what they will not attempt. Nobody ever said it would be easy, but it's darn sure worth it.

I remembered reading that as well and thinking," NO WAY!" Install, sand and finish 700 sq.ft. in one day? Impossible! Then I thought it had to be a misprint or something. No one in their right mind is going to believe this! I don't! Truly a "snow job!"

I googled the name of his company, he has a website, and refers to the installations by him and his crew....

I've worked as a day helper on a couple very large gym floor installations and if he and his company operate anything like the, would I even call them humans, that installed/finished these monster gym floors for a living than I think his use of the word 'snow' could indeed have multiple meanings.
