hello everybody, can you please help me?

I hired a contractor to install approximately 1,200 sqft. of Bruce Dundee 2.25" prefinished hardwood. It took him and his assistant about 6 days to complete the job. So far, nothing looks wrong. I think they racked perfectly, and I don't see any patterns, H joints, clustered joints, etc etc.

I do, however, see small gaps between the end joints. There are many gaps scattered throughout the floor. Most of the gaps can only fit one playing card. The biggest gap can fit two playing cards.

Is this normal? I understand nothing is perfect. But are these gaps within reasonable industry standards?

Thanks and much appreciated!

yes its normal and 100% within standards. Dundee has a square end which is impossible to match 100% perfect.

I second that, especially with Bruce.
