Currently, half of the first floor of my house has white oak floors that were site finished. I want to have similiar floors installed throughout the rest of the first floor. My options are having unfinished wood installed, site finished, and stained to match my current floors or having a prefinished floor installed in a stain that matches my existing floor. What have other done in this situation and what works best in terms of looks and durability?
