Great looking stuff Gary! I've never been fond of those wide 2 1/4" strip borders. I prefer the look you have in these photos. Lotta work on that job with all the detail.

Craftsmanship, at its best!

I'm honored to be able to pick the brain of such an artist.

Beautiful floors and great work! Mind if I ask what brand of floor you used? I am looking for something very similar to what you have. Is that natural maple? Thanks in advance.

I honestly don't remember the brand but it is Canadian. Canadian maple is usually whiter looking. The floor was sanded and finished in place. This is not a factory finished floor. It was finished with Bona waterborne floor finishes, which are very clear and add no color to the wood.

Yes, it could have been Tembec. I've used that before along with some others I don't recall. There was a brand my distributor was carrying for awhile that looked great and was inexpensive compared to USA maple prices. My memory ain't what it used to be.
