Would like a different look then 1/4 round or shoe molding. Any draw backs to using stop with the same profile as the baseboard? Thanks

We use door stop up here all the time in lieu of 1/4 round.
Looks fine, and doesnt seen to get marked up as bad by the vacuum cleaner.
