My wife and I have scoured websites and showrooms looking for a quality engineered floor that has the look we want and have come across a Shaw epic engineered hickory product. Some online sites have indicated that it is not a good product but I'm not sure these are legit or believable. Can anyone give us feedback? Thanks in advance.

Shaw started making this engineered with a core board at least ten years before anyone else. I've installed plenty of it without any issues. Very stable.

However, if water gets into the core you'll need extra for replacement planks.
