Hey guys I'm new. This is a great site and glad I found it. I'm finishing up some remodeling on my own house and want to freshen up the red oak floors. I sanded and finished them about 15 years ago with satin oil poly. They're in pretty good shape but I'd like to buff them with a pad and put down another coat or two. I think I'll be using a U-Sand. (what do you think of them?) I have a small area of new planks replaced due to water damage which I'll sand then switch over to the pads. I know it's a matter of taste but what is more popular - gloss or satin. I'm thinking of going with a little more shine.
