Hi, I am new to the website today. I have been searching online for a few hours for advice on whether we can apply polyurethane to our Morning Start Arcadia Bamboo Hardwood flooring but I cannot find out where to ask this question on your website. I read all the other questions and none of them specifically addressed this question. Can you help me?

As a guess, if the bamboo has a urethane finish on it, you Should be able to do a buff and coat. I suggest you hire a professional floor finisher inspect and quote the work. It is better left to someone who knows what they are doing when it comes to re-coating pre-finished products.

It can be recoated. Use a square buffer with a 150 sanding screen. Make sure you thoroughly abrade the finish. Then, apply a coating of a sanding sealer. If it does not look like it covered/sealed the floor add another coating of sanding sealer. Then apply the finish of your choice, oil or water. i recommend Bona Traffic.
