I installed 1/2 CDX underlayment on top of my subfloor on 500 sq ft or so. Well for about half of it I wasn't working the countersink bit very well and the screws are actually stinking out of the plywood just a nudge (probably 1/16th of an inch-but if you run your hand across it you can feel it).

Will the felt paper take care of this problem or is it best to go and re-countersink these holes and make them all flush. I just want to get opinions before I make more work for myself that isn't necessary. Should have done it right the first time, I know, but lets hope it is okay!

You can either go around with a big hammer and pound them flush. Or go back and back those screws out a little, them power them back down, this time enough to counter sink them a little. Be sure to adjust the clutch on your drill as if too much torque is used, you'll be snapping the heads off of those screws.
