Bummed!

I just had a new oak floor installled 3 weeks ago. It is sealed and then finished with 2 coats of poly.
I have been very careful but when moving in a very large and heavy refrigerator I put a few scuffs in the floor. They are pretty good scuffs but not through the finish.
Is there anything that I can do to repair these marks?

Thanks, Steve

Smitty, If the poly is waterbased you can rub the scuff hard with a soft cloth and sometimes they will go away if they are not too bad.
If the poly is oil-based, wipe a thin coat of the same finish on the scuff and quickly but gently wipe it off. This will remove some scuffs but some may never go away. Give it a try.

Smitty:
Are these scuffs actally indentation in the wood it self. If so you have to fill in the indentation, then coat the floor. If it is just scuffs try buddy's way or bite the bullet and apply another coat.
