had them professionally done the wood is red oak not sure what the finish is all i know is its called fruitwood or something. anyways this is the second time they finished the floors..the first time i saw marks i wasnt pleased about and this time i see this while walking into my hallway...WTF?! im calling again tomorrow but i wanted to see what you guys thought..here is a photo:
oh and also nothing or no one has walked on the floor except them..

It looks like a missed spot on the last coat it should be easy to touchup.
