The 60 teeth blade that came with my new Dewalt miter saw worked great for cutting the new baseboards. Will it cut fine enough on 1/2 " engineered hardwood, or should I invest in an 80 teeth blade? Thanks - Tony

That's what I use.

If you have a Harbor Freight Tools store in your area, they have sales all the time on 10" - 60 tooth, $9, regularly $20. I stock up!! They are good blades. Last for a good while. I've done about 4000 feet with the blade I'm using now, and it hasn't started chipping yet.

My opinion: 60 teeth is plenty.
