 Post subject: Sander not working

I am using a old clarke SA 8 sander. It has been running like a champ. Ran fine through with the 36 and 60 grit passes. I am trying to make my final cut with 80 and the motor is bogging down. It is 220 volt on a dedicated circuit. I have looked at the brushes and they are a little more than half left. Any suggestions?

Make sure the drive belt didn't loosen up on you.
