I have a diningroom oak floor that had been refinished with a light honey stain and moisture cure. It has small minute scratch marks from the movement of chairs. The discoloration is almost negliglible.

Coud I just dilute a honey stain and run it over the little scratches engrained into the protective moisture cure, or should I just resand down the entire beautiful floor ? If I can get away with it, I'd like to screen the entire floor, recolor the little scratches, and refinish.

Thanks

Marianne

A buff and recoat would work best. It only takes about an hour to do.
