Have any of you guys used Sampson Wood Armor floor finish? One of my customers,who's decided to furnish his own materials,presented this finish to me today.We have stained about 2800 sf of white oak with minwax oil based stain.This Wood Armor is a water based product.I've decided to proceed with caution,let the stain coat dry for a couple days.Just hope this stuff sticks to the oil stained floor.Any suggestions???

Some water based finishes like Bona Traffic will definitely stick to oil based stain if the stain is completely dry. As for Wood Armor, I don't know because I have never used it. I would consult with the company to get a answer. Some water based products do not bond well when applied over stain. And more importantly, whatever goes over the stain must be allowed to dry thoroughly before buffing or adding more coats.
