Hello I am on the second to last stop on my new hardwood floor. I am installing the hall way, I have 4 doors to install under, how long should the boards be cut, halfway into the door frame? With the door closed where under the door should the hardwood be and where should carpet or vinyl be on the other side? I hope my question makes sense. As with the rest of my questions I sure do appreciate your help. Thanks again

I like mine to stop midway through the doorstop, under the door, that means the transition strip if needed as well. So when you close the door, you cannot see the other flooring in the opposing room.
