I've never installed harwood but I'm fairly competent and would like some tips for starting. From one end of the room to the next I am out by 3/4". I currently have my outside wall ripped out replacing the plaster with drywall. I can build the wall out so it brings the room into square - is this something I should do? I also have a 4 foot entrance into the room that will meat a "schluter" and slate tile. I am going to lay a piece of hardwood parallel with the schluter and that but my boards up to this. The schluter will be out of square if I shim the wall to make it parallel the other wall. Any suggestions, or is this confusing?
