I've got a big flooring instal coming up. 1700 feet of red oak. The space a Has one main room with a single big hallway, then several alcoves for a dining room an other bedrooms off that.
Is it a bad idea to start my layout on the hallway wall and use a spline to change the direction of my instal into the dining room area (about 3-400 feet of the layout)? I want yo ensure I get a straight run down the hallway and would be nervous about getting just a tiny bit off if I start on the dining area wall. Are there any potential long term issues to doing a reverse of direction like this?
For info I an going 5 inch red oak plank with a roll on vapor barrier and a glue asset instal
Thanks for any helpful input!
