Hello all.
Was hoping someone in here can help me out with my situation. After 6 years of caution I finally managed to put a burn in my hardwood floor near my wood stove.
I have read plenty of tutorials online in regards to replacing a plank, but I have one slight curve ball in my situation. The plank that is damaged runs under the hearth of the wood stove, so it's not as simple as ripping it down the center and working it out of there. I need to create a fresh cut that needs to be very straight as it will be a seam that butts up to the new plank.
Also..... Anyone know of a tool that can make such a delicate cut without hitting the board on each side of it?
