We did a large floating over concrete, site finished walnut job several months ago for a client and are currently working on doing the rest of their house in a nail down maple. When we finished up the last job, they had asked us about this small hollow spot in the engineered floor, at that time we basically told them their wasn't much we could do about this spot and they seemed fine with that. However, now that we are back they are trying to get us to fix this spot. So we have to try to do something to fix this. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for this? Is their an epoxy or something we could attempt to inject into the spot to hopefully glue to glue it down? The area is only about 2 square feet. The spot is in the middle of the floor, so we really can't tear any of it up. Any help or advise will be greatly appreciated.

did you float the subfloor or is it the floor itself that is floated? dritack makes an injection repair kit that might work.

Hey thanks for the reply. I actually got it fixed. I ended up using the 3M repair kit and injected in about 6-8 places, then set a couple big buckets of wood filler on it and puttied the holes. Can't even tell it ever happened.
