 Post subject: removing old padding

what will remove the old padding that is stuck to the hardwood floor? the floors are still in good shape, but most likely, humidity made the padding stick to the floor, or there's some type of adhesive on there.

Depends how old that pad is, and if it is rubber, foam, jute or horsehair.


Plastic scraper, mineral spirits and elbow grease. When you figure out if that is working or not, break out the sanders & pick a finish.
