Mop n' Glow has screwed up my floors by causing a weird waxy buildup that is uneven and ugly. Does anyone know how to remove the waxy buildup from using MnG? Rubbing the floors with a wet rag and lots of elbow grease seems to do the trick but it'll take me weeks to finish the whole house!?! Plus I'm worried about dulling the flooring with the rag and mechanical force. There seems to be all these strange pay sites that offer "answers" about how to remove MnG but I don't trust paying someone for such information.

MnG is a type of acrylic polish/wax. If I'm not mistaken, a mixture of ammonia and warm water should remove it. Always test in an inconspicuous place first. If it's on wood, be careful not to flood the flooring and damage it.

If it takes you weeks to clean up the mess you created, I guarantee, you won't be putting mop & glow on your wood floors!!!

You can try Varsol (mineral spirits) to remove the waxy buildup. Will require lots of rags. Remember to soak these rags in water before disposal to avoid spontanious combustion.
