I got a little overzealous in tapping the last board in a row on a glue-down installation, and a quarter-sized chip of the prefinished surface is loose. I can either slip a little glue under the chip and press it back down or replace the 4 ft. board, as it is still open on two sides. The board in question is marked in red in the image below. I'd prefer to replace it, but don't want to ruin any of the adjoining boards. Thanks for any help!

Jim

The existing board won't be too hard to pull up, and if I take it easy I won't damage the adjoining T&G?

It most likely will be a little tough to remove. but you can carefully do it without damaging other boards. Patience(sp?) is key

Not replacing that plank will bother you in the future and you will "look back with regret"...

You take those boards out before the glue sets up, and replace, adding a little glue if needed.

If you let the glue set up, cut or chisel the board out. and clean any glue out of the from under the tongue, or in the groove.
