here is the dilemma. I have a split level home. My hardwood that I want to recoat extends from the living dinning room into the living room and down a hall where the bedroom branch off past the only stairway to the outside other than the back door which is blocked by the dining room. So, I would like to recoat the floor in the dining, living room and hallway. However, I can't see a way to get downstairs if I do unless I do one of two things.
A. Do one section at a time, doing the living and dining then coming back for the hall. Not sure how that will go over with seems or lines and overlap.
B. Do the living and dining, stopping briefly at the stair case and then starting at the end of the hall and working back toward the stairs finish and metting the two right at the stair and walking down the stairs as I leave. - I can sleep downstairs. if I need to. I'll be using water-poly so I can recoat every 2 hours. Advice>?
