We started out wanting to better seal our existing manufactured hardwood lam. due to our puppy in training adoring the (PI crooked letter crooked letter) out of them. However I got an idea and sanded a small area to see what we had and we were somewhat fascinated by the underlying wood tone. Not sure what kind of wood , maybe white oak but it's beautiful. I sanded a bigger area with a 3x21 belt sander and finished off with 220 grit finish sander. I'm seeing from other post that 220 grit may not be necessary and could get by with 120.
Anyway, I thought I would share pictures of what I'm dealing with and invite any comments or help y'all might have for me.
Thank you Ken for your help with my equipment questions and it doesn't look like I'll have much of a problem with the sander marks as they aren't as noticeable once finished.
