Hello
I recently had my hardwood floors refinished, in a large section (about 10x12 infront of our picture window there are many many little bumps, they look like small razor bumps, and are quite visible in the light of day (from the other room even), otherwise the floors look A-ok. is this an easy repair, i trust that the inital flooring person should fix this right? Will it entail a lot of work to fix? this is oak flooring w/ naturaly color. Thanks- Joe in Uk

Sounds like they didn't do a good job of dust control. They should be able to screen it and recoat it. Making sure to clean it thoroughly before coating it.

Probably needs a recoat make sure they cover the window to keep the sun off while the finish dries. Occasionally if the floor gets too hot the finish will dry before it can flow out.

Looks like a bunch of dust floor needs to be buffed cleaned and recoated. I would make sure to clean vents, vacuum and tack the floor and make sure there is no debris that can get in finish.

Buffing and applying a new coating will take care of that.
