I have 20-yr old maple hardwood floors I'd like to have professionally refinished (never done before). Is it that hard to do with water-based like Bona Traffic HD? One guy said maple is harder to sand but he can do it. Another says it will look bad and will only use Swedish Finish (hard pass due to medical concerns). Is it possible to do it with Bona Traffic HD and look good if the installer knows what he's doing? Or just a bad idea.
