Hello everyone,

I was looking at some new homes to get ideas for mine and fell in love with a Canadian Red Birch hardwood floor.

There were actually 2 homes that had red birch, one said it was canadian red birch and the other didnt know what kind of red birch it was.

The canadian red birch floor color was a light pinkish with reds in the wood, while the other red birch was more of a yellowish with browns in the wood. Is there this much of a difference in the red birches? Or was there some stain or sealer on one that made the color change?

Neither of the builders knew if the floors had stain or not.
