Looking for recommendations for testing the moisture content in concrete/gypcrete. I have new construction project coming up that will require me to test/monitor the moisture content in about 6,000sf of space..

I have about 20-25 calcium chloride tests on hand and I plan to use these.. However, the time between the gypcrete being poured and our projected start date is only about 3-4 weeks.. So if I run through all of these tests and find the moisture content is too high, I'm hoping to have a back up plan to do additional testing.. I realize I could buy more of the calcium chloride tests and stager the start day of the different tests and label each of the tests for the day it was started etc.. But I wasn't sure if their is another method/meter that gives as accurate of readings..

We rarely install over concrete (or in this case gypcrete) so I'm not all that familiar with this.. We test the subfloor and wood on all of our nail down jobs but neither of my meters reads concrete..

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

We use the pinless lignomat http://www.lignomatusa.com/MoistureMeter/index.html and are pretty happy with it.

I'd use this one and test with the calcium chloride tests as you get closer to your installation date
