Can radiant heat be used with hardwood flooring? If radiant heat can be used, how would it underlay the wood floor. Thanks for any information you may have on this subject.

The wood has to be dimensionally stable to be used for a radiant heating system. The width of the board shouldn't exceed 3 inches. Your best bet is to buy 2 1/4 rift sawn or quarter sawn hardwood flooring.
