If we need to level the floor with a self-leveling patch/cement, are we still required to remove the old bond breakers already on the concrete slab floor, or is it a moot point once covered by a patch?

Read the instructions!!!! Most will state the concrete must be free of dirt, grease...etc.

Watchout!! Self levelers are not very DIY friendly! They can set up faster then you can mix the next bucket. 3 guys mixing, and one to help you pour and rake it into place.
