I'm considering installing a floating brazilian cherry floor (WFI 5" engineered) throughout the entire 1st floor of my home and have a few basic questions.
1) I'm concerned about installing wood in the kitchen. How well will wood/brazilian cherry wear in the kitchen where there's lots of traffic, potential spills and other cooking-related or appliance-related hazards?
2) How well does brazilian cherry wear with an active dog running around in the house?
3) Can the 5" engineered plank product be installed on stairs? Is it floated on the stairs also, or do you have to do a different type of install?
