I'm looking to install an engineered hardwood flooring in my basement sometime in the next few months, so I've started researching all the options. Is there any site that has some in depth reviews of each brand? It seems like there is little to no information out there on the individual manufacturers, other than some generalities. Like I've looked at Mannington, Bruce, Tarkett, etc, but I haven't been able to find any reviews that really say how each one of them wears, resists scratching, etc. Consumer reports has a scorecard of some brands but it's basically worthless as most of the ratings come across as just arbitrary without any description or factual evidence to support them. I'd appreciate any help anyone can provide. Thanks!

For what it is worth. Anytime I can talk someone into getting a Kährs floor I feel like I am doing a great service for people who love good looking wood floors. IMHO there is no prefinished floor that comes anywhere close to the quality of Kährs.
